Automated measurement transfer for First Article inspection reporting.

Created a setup-inspection tracking system for dimensional and process data.

Redesigned production reporting and consolidated information across three shifts.

Moved production reporting into Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

Developed and standardized operational documentation.

01

First Article Automation

Dimensional data from the Keyence IM-7501 previously had to be manually entered into existing First Article forms.

  • Implemented Keyence IM-H1T data-transfer software.
  • Transferred Keyence comparator measurements directly into existing Excel forms.
  • Preserved manual measurement fields where physical inspection was still required.
  • Reduced repetitive transcription and improved inspection workflow efficiency.

02

Setup Inspection Tracking

Setup measurements were being checked for immediate acceptance but were not being retained as useful historical process data.

  • Created a dedicated setup-inspection spreadsheet.
  • Automatically captured dimensional data through IM-H1T.
  • Flagged measurements against specification limits.
  • Recorded repeated setup attempts and dimensional issues.
  • Created a dataset for future bottle, mold, and technician analysis.

03

Production Reporting

The production workbook was redesigned to make data entry safer while making information from all three shifts easier to analyze.

  • Separated user-entry areas from protected calculations.
  • Used IF, SUMIF, and XLOOKUP to consolidate production data.
  • Created a three-shift summary dashboard.
  • Added shift and machine-performance comparisons.
  • Added machine and part-number data validation.
  • Built label-runout and production-completion estimators.

04

SharePoint & Digital Workflow

  • Moved production reporting from a single foreman’s-office computer into SharePoint.
  • Enabled production, quality, foremen, and QC personnel to work in the same live file.
  • Configured editable regions while protecting formulas and supporting logic.
  • Restricted the production computer to approved business resources.
  • Helped establish a pilot for wider Microsoft 365 adoption.
PlasCor SharePoint production workspace

SharePoint workspace developed to centralize production resources and support controlled, concurrent access to operational files.

05

Documentation & Standardization

  • Developed or standardized more than 15 job descriptions.
  • Developed approximately four SOPs.
  • Created work instructions, visual safety materials, and other standardized documentation.
  • Supported production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and administrative operations through standardized documentation.
